Clamour and Toll

Clamour and Toll was a huge success. C\R\I\T\I\C\S, Josh Rose, Absurdus, Christian Nicolay and Ya-chu Kang were amazing. We converted some Olympic tourists to art and we made some cultural connoisseurs eat dust. Dada would be proud. The temporary Candahar Bar created by Theo Sims was the perfect Cabaret Voltaire. Thanks to Reid Shier and Michael Turner for their benevolence and to Jeremy for his exceptional technical applications. Rad. Stay tuned for Clamour and Toll: Church, at the Anza Club on March 18th with a focus on harsh noise and spoken word. –eli

Are you ready to hustle?

Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough: Photo by Dennis Rosenfeld
When the weather gets particularly dreary, it is difficult not to retreat into the comfort of your home, a place where your feet can stay dry and where you do not need to peer out from under the brim of an umbrella to look forward. Teased by rumours of cherry blossoms blooming, we keep hoping that eventually the rain will cease and spring will soon appear. We have many things to look forward to this spring, beyond the return of sunshine and eating sandwiches in the park. Yes, that's right folks. The Or Gallery dance-a-thon is soon upon us.

DO THE HUSTLE
will be held this year on Friday, May 7th at the WISE Hall. While the rain pours outside we are busy inside, gathering amazing prizes, practicing our hustle moves, and channeling our inner John Travolta. We highly recommend you do the same. Register now! This is most certainly the cure to your winter doldrums.
